Songwriting Lessons
Songwriting lessons are available at Chichester Music Academy with Dan Coates, Alice Milburn, Finnian James & Murray Hughes .
Finnian is a multi-instrumentalist Singer-Songwriter from Brighton. He extensive experience in writing, recording and performing, as well as being a professional session guitarist and keyboardist. Finn holds a degree in Commercial Music.
Murray is a professional vocal/songwriting tutor and has been writing and performing music for over 15 years and holds a BA Honours Degree in music and a PGCE.
Alice is a singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist. She fronts her own originals band as well as collaborating with other artists as an arranger/composer and backing vocalist. Alice holds a first class honours degree in Professional Musicianship.
Dan is a multi-instrumentalist Singer-Songwriter. He has extensive performance experience with both his band and as a solo artist.

Chichester Music Academy is a music tutoring agency. We arrange the initial introductory lesson with your Tutor and provide the facilities. Fees are then charged by your tutor at the following rates.

Our Songwriting Teachers:
Murray Hughes
Vocals, Songwriting
Murray is a professional vocal/songwriting tutor and has been writing and performing music for over 16 years and holds a BA Honours Degree in music and a PGCE. He teaches a wide variety of vocal styles and works with students to improve their confidence and live performance techniques.
Alice Milburn
Guitar, Vocals, Songwriting
Alice is a singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist. She fronts her own originals band as well as collaborating with other artists as an arranger/composer and backing vocalist. Having obtained a first class honours degree in Professional Musicianship, she is now studying for a masters specialising in Jazz Vocals.
Dan Coates
Songwriting, Production
Dan is a multi-instrumentalist Singer-Songwriter. He extensive performance experience with both his band and as a solo artist. Dan is involved with an artist development programme, working with original young Singer-Songwriters in a Brighton based Recording Studio.
Finnian James
Songwriting, Guitar, Vocals
Finnian is a multi-instrumentalist Singer-Songwriter with a wealth of experience as a live performer, recording artist and professional session guitarist/keyboardist. He has a degree in Commercial Music from Waterbear in Brighton and has a long association with CMA and Ovation Music as a former student of both.
