We are proud to offer some of the most experienced piano tuition in Chichester. We believe in learning what you love and the rest will follow. All ages and abilities welcome.
Piano tutors include Will West who is a Licentiate of Trinity College London and an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (You can have a listen to Will here!) along with Angie Daniels, Mahya Mahroomi, Jake Lynas and Heather Illidge, each are experienced teachers and musicians who are happy to accept students looking to improve their piano playing or those who want to learn a new skill.
Chichester Music Academy is equipped with Yamaha and Roland Pianos in three of our studios.

1-1 Tuition Fees
Chichester Music Academy is a music tutoring agency. We arrange the initial introductory lesson with your Tutor and provide the facilities. Fees are then charged by your tutor at the following rates.

Our Piano Teachers:

Angie Daniels
Vocals, Piano
Angie has been teaching piano, singing and cello since graduating with a Degree in Fine Art and Music in 2000. Although trained classically herself, she has adopted a broader spectrum of teaching, engaging pupils in pop/rock, musicals, songwriting and production.

Will West
Piano
Will holds a degree in music from Chichester University and has taught piano since graduating in 2004. Classically trained, Will is a Licentiate of Trinity College London and an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (with distinction). He is a passionate musician who has written for an international music publication.

Jake Lynas
Piano
Jake has a shared passion for both classical and jazz music having studied classical piano for 10 years before attaining a degree from Chichester Conservatoire in Jazz performance. Jake performs actively with the local funk band, Beatroot, and enjoys transcribing unwritten music and tailoring it to his students.

Heather Illidge
Vocals
Heather has over 10 years experience as a vocalist, working in the styles of jazz, musical theatre, and pop. She has worked professionally with a wide variety of ensembles including big bands and orchestras, as well as in more intimate settings. Heather believes that music should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Mahya Mahroomi
Piano
Mahya Mahroomi is a Master's graduate from the University of Chichester, a concert and studio pianist, and teacher. She has excelled at various festivals and also participated in different recitals in Chichester. Mahya has been teaching for 7 years. She has a broad knowledge of teaching methods such as ABRSM, Trinity & RCM and uses these based on the student's needs and desires.
