Bass Guitar Lessons

We are are pleased to be offering bass lessons with Jordan Easby, Pete Sidwell and Olly Meredith.

Jordan is the bassist of 2Tone tribute band, Mainly Madness who play sold out venues and festivals across the UK. Other experiences include releasing original music and recording at Abbey Road Studios. He holds Qualified Teacher Status as a secondary school music teacher.

Pete has over 35 years of bass playing experience, pro and semi-pro, and has been teaching music at Chichester College for 20 years. He brings wealth of performance and equipment experience to Chichester Music Academy.

Olly Meredith is a Funk/Jazz bassist with a degree in Jazz from the Guildhall, London. Olly’s primary influences include Pino Palladino and Anthony Jackson, largely both for their creativity and versatility on electric bass. Olly is currently only available online.

1-1 Tuition Fees

Chichester Music Academy is a music tutoring agency. We arrange the initial introductory lesson with your Tutor and provide the facilities. Fees are then charged by your tutor at the following rates.

Pete Sidwell

Bass Guitar

Pete has been playing for over 40 years in a semi-pro/ pro capacity and after completing his PGCE in Musical Education served 24 years in full-time teaching at Chichester College. He still performs locally, and afar, in several bands on bass guitar and upright bass.

Jordan Easby

Olly Meredith

Olly Meredith is a Funk/Jazz bassist. Olly’s primary influences include Pino Palladino and Anthony Jackson, largely both for their creativity and versatility on electric bass. He is currently studying Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music in London, and he gigs and records regularly in London and Brighton.
