Songwriting Lessons

We now offer one to one tuition in songwriting. Lessons take place on Saturdays and are available by the hour, 45mins or 30mins.

Tom Truman is a professional jazz singer, guitarist, and a lead writer for the award winning jazz ensemble, The Mid Jazz Sandwich. Tom has written for a variety of different genres, specifically jazz, folk and pop and offers a creative and rule free approach to teaching. Tom is happy to teach anyone, from musicians who’ve never written anything prior to lessons, to seasoned composers, believing that the most important part of songwriting is confidence.

By visiting the Chichester Music Academy for a free introductory lesson we will be able to ascertain which approach to songwriting is right for you.  If you wish to book further lessons then the following prices apply:
