Chichester Music Academy

After 15 years we have taken the very difficult decision to close the business.

Over the past year or so we have seen the costs in running and maintaining our premises increase beyond realistic affordability. I'm sure you appreciate that every effort has been made to continue, however we have reached the point where the business, sadly, is no longer financially viable. 

Ovation Music, a registered charity, has been successfully operating for 10 years, much of this as a co-tenant in Globe House. Ovation is in a more stable position financially as it has access to additional resources in the form of fundraising and sponsorship alongside its well established primary activities, which include busy music groups and bands on Saturdays, and a large annual concert at the Chichester Festival Theatre. 

After lengthy discussions with the Trustees of the charity, the Landlord of Globe house and the tutors who have been hiring the premises to teach from, we're pleased to say that an agreement has been reached for Ovation to broaden its activities to include 1-1 music education as this sits comfortably within the framework of their charitable objectives. 

We are confident that Ovation Music is the best placed organisation to take things forward in a positve way!

1-1 Tuition

Private tuition arranged between a tutor and student is subject to a minimum term as agreed between both parties during an introductory lesson. Indicative fees below are charged for by a self-employed tutor.
